Getting the Most Out of Your Invisalign Treatment

Are you interested in improving the appearance and function of your smile but would like to avoid “metal mouth”? Wishing there was a discrete way for you to correct your smile? At Pine View Family Dental we are happy to offer Invisalign in Prescott, AZ for our patients looking for a more invisible form of orthodontic treatment.

About Our Prescott Invisalign Treatments

Invisalign treatment involved wearing custom-made aligners which have been designed to be virtually invisible. A series of aligners is created and must be worn for the specified period of time before moving on to the next aligners in the series. You must wear Invisalign aligners for at least 22 hours each day. They can be removed for eating, drinking and dental care.

Wearing your Invisalign aligners as directed. As stated above, you must wear your Invisalign aligners for at least 22 hours each day. It is important to make sure you are switching your aligners as directed and are switching to the correct one. In the event you lose an aligner, let us know immediately, it is important to replace the aligners to ensure treatment is successful.

Taking care of your smile. Although it would seem like patients would take care of a smile they are paying thousands of dollars to correct, you would be surprised. Any time you consume food or beverages, it is important to clean your smile prior to sticking aligners back in. Debris can stain or even damage your aligners.

Taking care of your aligners. Along with your smile, it is important to wash your aligners. We recommend dawn dish soap, never use toothpaste as it can damage aligners. When not wearing your aligners, be sure to store them in their case properly.
